TURMERIC FACE MASKS FOR ACNE SCARS & DARK SPOTS

Turmeric has come a LONG way in the past couple of years from being used in dishes to being a consistent beauty staple in treating a multitude of things from hair problems to skin problems. The active compound in turmeric is called curcum, and is a yellow pigment that is packed full of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. When applied to the skin, this powerful powder fights bacteria to eliminate and prevent acne, breakouts, and blackheads, all while reducing the appearance of acne scars, dark spots, and stains. These turmeric face masks serve to cure a multitude of problems including acne, but focus more on eradicating stubborn acne scars and dark spots.

Turmeric Face Masks

#1. Turmeric & Lemon Face Mask

  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeeze lemon juice
Mix both ingredients together and stir until well combined. Apply to a clean face and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
Why it Works: Lemons have powerful astringent properties and will shrink pores, all while naturally bleaching acne scars and dark spots. Turmeric works to prevent excess oil and breakouts.

#2. Turmeric & Aloe Vera Face Mask

  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp aloe vera gel (pure)
  • Water
Mix turmeric with aloe vera gel and add a little bit of water until the mask forms a smooth paste. Apply to a clean face and neck and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse off and pat dry.

Why it Works: Aloe vera has powerful soothing properties, therefore reducing the appearance of scars and dark spots.

  1. I have 2 dark spots from old scars under my chin, and by using Dermalmd skin lightening serum for 3 weeks, the color is almost gone, and you can barely see them. It's stings for just a second, and your face will peel, but it works, and does what its supposed to do. You don't need to use much, so there's plenty in the bottle to last a while. I'm really pleased with it overall, and definitely recommend!

Elderberry Extract – Nature’s Answer To The Flu!

Have you heard about the elderberry extract? Or even the elderberry for that matter? The elderberry (Sambucus) is a genus of plants from the Adoxaceae family. The fruits (berries) are incredibly rich in essential vitamins and minerals, and have been used in folk medicine for centuries, mainly against flu, colds, constipation, injury recovery and rheumatism. According to recent studies, the elderberry extract may truly well be the most powerful natural weapon against flu. No matter if it’s the seasonal strain or a potential pandemic, the extract is a great supplement that will keep you away from the influenza virus. Unlike the controversial flu shot, concentrated elderberry extract has been proven as highly effective against the virus, and is one of the natural remedies that has had its fair share of studies. For example, one Pub Med study showed that Sambucol (Sambucus nigra L. products) has powerful antiviral properties and can defeat about 10 influenza strains. The patients in

A Beekeeper Trained His Bees to Make Honey With Cannabis Resin

After years of researching how to combine the two most important natural things in his life, a 39-year-old    French beekeeper    and avid cannabis user created natural nectar called “cannahoney.” Nicolas Trainerbees earned his nickname after more than two decades devoted to his association with animals and bees. Science Explorer reported that when he was 7, Trainer began to get into a lot of trouble at school because he was hyperactive, which eventually led to him dropping out.    However, soon after leaving school, he found that cannabis for medical purposes helped him deal with his condition.    Trainer admitted consuming it before he turned 10. Years later, his followers who were aware of his ability to raise and train bees began to ask if he would ever use his bees to create honey made from marijuana plants.    Knowing that honey is a natural substance with its own health benefits, he got the idea that the two would actually be a perfect combination.” He claims that he
